21,000 items available for adults and children.
This is a ‘new concept’ library which attracts a large number of visitors, thanks in part to its position beside the shopping centre. Its non-stop opening hours, its stock of recently published publications, its rapid turnover of books and the computerisation of its services make it one of the busiest libraries in Modena.
Books for children include various publications in foreign languages.

Registering for library lending is immediate and free. Up to 10 items can be borrowed at the same time.
It is possible to propose that the library buys books it does not currently own (1 a month).
An interlibrary lending service is available.
Returning books: books from the Rotonda Library (only) can be returned in the library during opening hours, or by using the dedicated returned books container outside the library main door (currently in preparation).
Internet positions: 3 in the library, plus Wi-Fi iModena coverage
Note: 2 out of 3 PCs for online use are out of order; 1 PC for video writing and internet is functional

Self-service photocopy service available with prepaid card
Bookstall: discount point of sale for books, magazines and ‘out of print’ CDs. The proceeds are used to finance book purchases and special Municipal Library projects.
Bancarella/Bookstalls are active in the Delfini, Crocetta, Rotonda and Giardino libraries.
